\\\\This role cannot do sponsorship or utilize C2C vendors.\\\\ Description Client is seeking a Palantir Foundry Engineer to design, build, and support data products and applications that enable operational, engineering, and business teams to make faster, more reliable decisions. This role focuses on delivering productiongrade Foundry solutions, from ingesting and modeling enterprise data to building workflows and applications that are actively used by the business. The ideal candidate is handson, pragmatic, and comfortable working directly with stakeholders to translate realworld construction, engineering, and operations needs into scalable digital solutions. This role is 100% remote but candidate would have to work CST hours. Key Responsibilities Palantir Foundry Development Design, build, and maintain endtoend Palantir Foundry solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and publishing. Develop and evolve Foundry Ontology models (core objects, relationships, and actions) to ensure consistent, discoverable, and reusable data across projects. Build Pythonbased pipelines and transforms, implementing incremental processing, validation, data quality checks, and performance tuning. Support Foundry deployments across development, test, and production environments. Application & Workflow Development Build userfacing applications and workflows using Foundry tools and React/TypeScript, enabling engineers, project managers, and analysts to interact with data without manual workarounds. Replace spreadsheetdriven or manual reporting processes with reliable, auditable digital tools. Integrate Foundry outputs into operational workflows, not just dashboards. Data Integration & Reliability Integrate Foundry with internal and external systems (ERP, project controls, asset management, ticketing, and custom APIs). Implement robust error handling, retries, logging, and audit trails for enterprise reliability. Investigate and resolve pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issues in production environments. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner directly with business users, engineers, and analysts to understand requirements and constraints. Translate ambiguous needs into clear user stories, data products, and technical designs. Deliver solutions iteratively, incorporating feedback while maintaining technical integrity. Advanced & Emerging Capabilities (as applicable) Introduce AIenabled or LLMassisted workflows where they provide measurable value (e.g., search, summarization, assisted triage). Ensure responsible use with clear validation, documentation, and governance. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or fullstack development. Handson experience with Palantir Foundry, delivering real solutions used in production. Strong proficiency in Python for data pipelines and transformations. Experience with SQL and relational or analytical data modeling. Frontend development experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript. Solid understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, APIs, and system integrations. Experience supporting production systems, including debugging, monitoring, and performance optimization. Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with nontechnical stakeholders. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Vista, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
