This role involves the decomposition and design of complex training device features and interfaces within a simulation and training environment. The professional will perform system-level analysis, architecture, and design across the entire product lifecycle, including fabrication, testing, and maintenance. Responsibilities include conducting trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications. The individual will collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to create total system solutions for both military and commercial sectors. Daily tasks are performed within a classified and controlled laboratory environment.

Candidates must possess a degree in a STEM field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field. An active and transferable U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is mandatory for this position due to security clearance requirements. Proficiency in systems engineering processes, including requirements capture and design, is necessary.
