The role involves supporting the development and testing of aircraft embedded software applications throughout the software life cycle. Engineers work within a multi-disciplined team to design solutions for complex technical system and software integration problems. Responsibilities include supporting both new and legacy military and commercial programs from initial concept and requirements through to maintenance. The work requires close collaboration with other software and systems engineers to ensure designs meet end-user and operational needs.

Candidates must possess a degree in a STEM field and be United States citizens to qualify for a required Department of Defense Secret security clearance. Necessary technical proficiencies include software development in Windows environments using C, C++, C#, or Java, as well as experience with WPF and UI architectural patterns. Applicants must demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively within a multi-discipline team. Proficiency in software debugging, configuration management, and an understanding of design patterns are also required.
