The intern will join an Agile scrum team focused on the design, development, testing, and maintenance of flight-critical embedded software for military avionics flight management systems. Responsibilities include organizing tasks, coordinating team efforts, communicating status, and brainstorming ideas within a collaborative environment. The role involves participating in all phases of the software product life cycle from requirements through to verification. Interns will also learn about product certification artifacts required by federal agencies. The position supports signature products such as flight displays, engine instrument displays, and navigation systems.

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline. U.S. citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position. Preferred qualifications include experience in avionics or software development and testing, as well as familiarity with Agile environments. Proficiency in specific programming languages and requirement management tools is also considered beneficial.
