The role involves designing, developing, and implementing software for an Electronic Warfare Mission System. The individual will work within a team to provide requirements, design, verification, and validation support for assigned projects. Responsibilities include creating microservices and container-based applications while utilizing automated pipelines. The position requires collaboration with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to implement functionality and improve the flow of value. Additionally, the individual will participate in sprint planning and program increment activities.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least five years of experience in software design, development, and testing. Essential technical requirements include proficiency in a mainstream object-oriented language, Linux platform experience, and knowledge of UML and design patterns. Applicants must be skilled in test-driven development, automated testing, and source code management. Furthermore, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Defence Security Clearance at the NV-1 level.
