The individual will also define, implement, and improve system safety processes while promoting a safety culture.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A minimum of 7 years of relevant safety engineering experience is required, including at least 5 years specifically in System Safety engineering. Proficiency in inductive and deductive safety analyses, Systems Engineering principles, and risk management is necessary. Additionally, the role requires experience in writing code, performing unit tests, and analyzing algorithmic structures in C, C++, and Python. A Master's degree or PhD in a related engineering or technical field is preferred.
