Job Description As the Functional Specialist within the Corporate IT organization you will execute Strategic Data Projects by analyzing, validating, and optimizing datasets, performing functional testing, and providing support in project coordination and other operational tasks as needed while ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical delivery. Responsibilities Business & Requirements Analysis Gather and document functional requirements, translate business needs into actionable insights, ensure traceability, represent business during design/validation, and manage user stories in tools like Azure DevOps. BI Strategic Projects Execution Coordinate activities for data-driven initiatives, maintain visibility on scope and timelines, act as liaison between business and technical teams, and track value realization. Functional Validation & Solution Support Participate in functional testing, review outputs, integrate stakeholder feedback, identify data discrepancies, and suggest user experience improvements. Process Improvement & Quality Identify process improvement opportunities, support quality assurance tasks (documentation, audits, compliance), and ensure solutions meet regulatory and quality standards. Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management, or related field; 5+ years of experience. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset and innovative approach. Analytical skills to interpret complex data and drive process improvements. Knowledge of project management ( Waterfall, Agile) and ability to support coordination and stakeholder communication. Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI for data analysis and visualization. Financial understanding of KPIs, cost tracking, and reporting. Fluent in English; international exposure and flexibility for occasional travel. Nice to have Familiarity with ERP systems or LIMS is a plus. Experience in Azure DevOps.
