Innovation here isnt a catchphraseits your everyday. Responsibilitiess: Develop an AI compiler toolchain, working with AI agents to map neural networks onto Renesas SoC platforms. Creating and testing new graph transformations, lowering, scheduling, and code generation methods for CPUs and custom accelerators, using insights from AI-powered analytics. Work on integrating popular AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX, using AI agents to support new model architectures and operations more quickly. Improve quantization, operator fusion, memory planning, and layout transformations, learning from both team members and AI-guided designs for better performance. Collaborate with hardware and software architects, kernel developers, and AI agents to help co-design compiler and accelerator features, supporting alignment between silicon and code for greater efficiency. Diagnose and crush performance bottlenecks with AI-enabled profiling and diagnostics, relentlessly tuning for latency, throughput, and power efficiency. Level up validation, benchmarking, and regression pipelines by harnessing AI agentsensuring compiler correctness and world-class performance, release after release. Uplevel the developer experience by streamlining usability, diagnostics, and documentationAI agents are your copilots for user support, troubleshooting, and rapid iteration. Qualifications MS/PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, EE, or related field Hands-on experience with compilers, AI systems, or high-performance software, and a genuine interest in using AI to enhance engineering productivity and drive innovation. Comfortable coding in C/C++ and Python, able to contribute to established codebases, and open to collaborating with teammates and AI agents. Understanding of machine learning models, computational graphs, and operator concepts, with a willingness to learn how AI can support and streamline processes. Familier with compiler frameworks (TVM, MLIR, LLVM, etc.) or proprietary stacks, and interest in learning how to extend their features with AI-driven approaches. General knowledge of CPU/GPU/accelerator architecture, memory systems, and optimization principles, with enthusiasm for working on hardware-software integration projects. Creative problem-solver who enjoys tackling performance and correctness issues, including those identified by AI-powered analysis tools.
