Job Description NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead a high-impact team driving AI innovation across the enterprise. This team focuses on building scalable AI infrastructure, enabling access to cutting-edge foundation models, and advancing AI education for engineers company-wide. In this role, you will manage Agile Scrum ceremonies, align team deliverables with strategic objectives, and collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize services in the rapidly evolving world of AI. As part of the Prism organization within NBCUniversals Operations and Technology group, the AI CORE team is dedicated to elevating the developer experience by delivering the infrastructure and knowledge required to create next-generation AI-powered applications and services. This is a technical leadership role. The ideal candidate must have prior hands-on software engineering experience, including designing and developing RESTful APIs, web applications, and implementing serverless architectures on major public cloud providers (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP). You will shape strategies for edge-first architectures, AI-driven development workflows, and data-centric insights. Your team will deliver high-quality foundation models to engineering groups and support diverse use cases across the organization, ensuring solutions scale to meet internal and external customer needs. You will also partner with strategic vendors to influence feature development, build future-ready ecosystems that accelerate software delivery, enhance productivity, and enable innovative ways of working.
