In this role you will gain hands on experience developing high performance software for signature applications, learning cutting edge techniques in GPU computing, physics based ray tracing, and computational electromagnetics\\\. You will work side by side with senior engineers and researchers, contributing to projects that impact aircraft stealth and low observable \\(LO\\) technology\\\. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full\\-time Early Career Software Engineer \\(Low Observables\\)\\\. Typical responsibilities may include: \\-Assist in the design and architecture of objectoriented software under the guidance of senior engineers\\\. \\-Contribute code to objectoriented applications using C\\\+\\\+/Python, following established design patterns\\\. \\-Participate in building and testing GPUaccelerated modules \\(CUDA or OpenCL\\) to improve simulation performance\\\. \\-Perform debugging and troubleshooting on existing tools, documenting findings and suggested fixes\\\. \\-Help keep software documentation uptodate, including API references, user guides, and training materials\\\. \\-Collaborate with researchers and teammates to implement computational physics algorithms \\(e\\\.g\\\., raytracing, electromagnetics\\)\\\. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to self\\-teach new skills and techniques and the ability to collaborate with team members from differing backgrounds including physics, engineering, and software\\\.
