The research scientist supports ongoing programs and internal research and development efforts within the APEX team. The role involves collaborating with research scientists, FPGA engineers, and software engineers to develop, test, and deliver prototype and fully capable systems. Responsibilities include performing data analysis to evaluate mission processing solutions and providing expertise in algorithms for detection, tracking, and multi-int fusion. The position also entails optimizing signal processing chains and potentially working on AI/ML algorithm applications.

Candidates must possess a degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Proficiency in MatLab and at least one other programming language is required. Applicants must have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI government security clearance, which necessitates US citizenship.
