Docplanner Senior Data Analyst \\\| SmartRecruiters Google Chrome Microsoft Edge Apple Safari Mozilla Firefox . Senior Data Analyst Full-time Company Description Welcome to the good side of tech You might have heard about us, but with a different name: Znanylekarz. It all started 10 years ago, when we asked ourselves: is anyone in healthcare thinking about patients? We jumped in and we empowered patients by giving them access to leave and read reviews about their visit. We then provided doctors with the technology to manage bookings easily and save time, so they could devote themselves to what they always wanted: treating patients. And today is the day in which we ask you: wanna join us in the next step of making the healthcare experience more human? Docplanner at scale We are leaders in 13 countries so far, and more than 90 million patients trust us every month. 300.000 specialists, 2 mln bookings per month believe in us and our product, and so do leading venture capital funds such as Point Nine Capital, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and One Peak Partners. And yet, employing over 2.500 people all over the globe, we managed to keep the startup-mindset we started with over 10 years ago. How does Docplanner Tech fit here? At Docplanner Tech we are a diverse group of over 400 people working in Engineering, Data, and Product teams. We are responsible for building the product for all locations. Many of us have been here for over 5 years, yet we still welcome each new person with great joy and excitement. We could tell you about us, but we will let our reviews on Glassdoor speak for themselves. In case youd like to see how it feels to be 100% yourself at work, heres a video of us. And why should you join us? Because it feels good to tell your family and your friends how you made the world a little bit better. You go to bed knowing that what you do matters, and that your talents align with your beliefs. We want to make the healthcare experience more human, and that starts with you being you. We believe that taking the diversity of human experience into account makes a better healthcare experience for all . Were not just different: we embrace diversity. We will encourage you to come to work your whole self, and that includes not coming to the office at all if you prefer not to, as we're 100% remote friendly. Job Description Senior Data Analyst PMS Data Foundations Location: Madrid (Hybrid) Our Practice Management Systems (PMS) operate across multiple countries and products - but today, the local PMS data foundations are fragmented, inconsistent, and in some cases non-existent. This role exists to fix that - from the root. Were looking for a Senior Data Analyst who can rebuild core PMS data foundations while simultaneously supporting urgent analytical business needs. This is not a clean dashboard-only role. Its a hands-on, technical, sometimes messy role that requires curiosity, speed, resilience, and strong business judgment. In the future, this role may evolve toward broader Data functions - but first, the foundations need to be built. This role sits at the intersection of: PMS product & engineering teams Data Platform & Business Intelligence Business stakeholders who need answers now, not after the perfect model exists You will work closely with PMS engineering leadership, data platform teams, and business stakeholders across multiple markets. Key Responsibilities 1\\. Rebuilding PMS Data Foundations Analyze and understand existing PMS data flows, tables, and definitions (often undocumented) Rebuild and standardize core PMS data models from the ground up Define and document key business metrics, entities, and logic Create and maintain clear data definitions and documentation Partner closely with Data Platform and PMS engineering teams to ensure scalable solutions 2\\. Hands-on Data Delivery (While Rebuilding) Write fast, complex, and reliable SQL to answer business questions Deliver ad-hoc and recurring analyses while infrastructure is still evolving Balance long-term data quality with short-term business needs Support stakeholders with data exploration, validation, and interpretation 3\\. Cross-functional Collaboration Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams Translate business questions into data requirements (and vice versa) Work with developers in PMS teams where local data expertise may not exist Influence decisions without formal authority Qualifications Must-haves (non-negotiable) Very strong SQL skills - you can write complex queries quickly and confidently Experience working with messy, incomplete, or poorly structured data Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments, handling different stakeholders and different requirements. Strong business mindset - you care about why the data matters, not just how Hands-on mentality: youre comfortable doing the not-so-nice work Technical background 3-6+ years in data analytics, data engineering, or similar roles Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Superset or similar). Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or data processing Experience with DBT (models, tests, documentation) Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) Experience working closely with engineering teams Soft skills & mindset Resilient and persistent - this is a tough role, not a polished one Curious and proactive - you dig deep to understand root causes and to detect flaws Pragmatic - you know when good enough beats perfect Clear communicator who can adapt to different audiences Motivated by impact, not just titles or tools Location & collaboration Madrid is strongly preferred, as most PMS business, product and engineering stakeholders are based there Hybrid working is supported Additional Information Flexible remuneration and benefits system via Flexoh, which includes: restaurant card, transportation card, kindergarten, and training tax savings; True flexibility and work-life balance Remote or hybrid work model with our hub in Barcelona; Flexible working hours (fully flexible, as in most cases you only have to be on a couple of meetings weekly); Summer intensive schedule during July and August (work 7 hours, finish earlier); 23 paid holidays, with exchangeable local bank holidays; Additional paid holiday on your birthday or work anniversary (you choose what you want to celebrate). Health comes first Private healthcare plan with Adeslas for you and subsidized for your family (medical and dental); Access to hundreds of gyms for a fee in partnership for you and your family with Wellhub; Access to iFeel, a technological platform for mental wellness offering online psychological support and counseling.
